Lawsuit updates, relevant contents fuel page visits

In an earlier similar post, I mentioned how this blog was revived from its dormant state immediately after it was redesigned from its previous look, feel, and content structure. Now, 40 days after that post, it gets more than 8,000 hits from both new and old visitors. I think that this surge of visits is partly due to the recent updates and development on RGIS class action lawsuit brought about by former and current RGIS hourly employees on compensation issues. In fact around 65% of the hits for the last 40 days were lawsuit related.

Another factor that I think responsible for the high visits is the content and relevance of each post. I believe that providing excellent content with relevant issues may generate good traffic as well. One thing I learned from being a publisher is to make sure that data and information I publish must be accurate. But I think the real driving force here are the very people that come and visit this blog:  YOU. And I really appreciate everyones' business.

Your input is most welcome
Several weeks ago, a regular visitor, who is also a retail owner, emailed me and asked me if it is possible to share his ideas and expertise related to his field, and be a guest contributor. I thought that was great. So, starting January next year, there will be some good changes happening.

If you have suggestions, please do. Email at rgisblog@gmail(dot)com. Thanks everyone.

RGIS Blog gets more than 2,000 views this month...and growing

Data taken from the first Top 10 countries by pageviews

Dear Valued Readers,

Good news to everybody. Over the last 30 days, this blog gets more than 2,000 views and more than 200 new and unique readers a month...and growing. This is according to statistics provided by three independent data providers.

As many of you know, this blog has started about 3 years ago as a personal hobby. As months go by and suggestions have submitted in, it evolved to a more relavant and dynamic blog covering wide range of issues and relevant subjects and set itself differently from the traditional type. And we are committed to bring relevant topics and articles about retail inventory industry.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for the trust, suggestions, and contributions for making this blog this far. I also want to thank a group of readers who gave excellent opinion pieces and great ideas. Most of you I knew by your blog names and dozens of regular and anonymous commenters out there.

I also want to take this time to rectify some opinions from other valued readers who have misinterpreted the nature of this blog: THIS IS NOT A BLOG FOR, OR IN FAVOR OF RGIS Company. It shall remain to be independent and impartial with respect to issues, or interests involving a particular company or niche. This blog is for the whole inventory industry.

Again, thank you for the continued readership and support.
